Our ikebana group will set up arrangements in the morning (usually 9 to 10.30am) and welcome visitors to the exhibition during the day. We will take down the ikebana after the Festival closes at 6.30pm.

All teachers and students of Sogetsu ikebana may exhibit, but it is preferable that you attend the workshop with Takako on February 28th so we can co-ordinate the exhibition arrangements. We will need members to host the exhibition and talk to attendees about ikebana.

Ikebana Demonstrations by Takako Martin at the Wellington Japan Festival
Takako Martin has been invited by the FestivalTtrust to conduct several ikebana demonstrations for the public at the Wellington Japan Festival. As Takako is from Auckland, our Wellington Sogetsu group will assist her with preparing for the demonstrations, and some of our teachers will assist her during the demonstrations. Our members are welcome to join the audience and see Takako demonstrate.
